Meet Our Instructors

 

John Smith

Yoga/Pilates

John is a certified personal trainer and our yoga and pilates instructor. He brings additional specialized knowledge in rehabilitation and adaptive movement. The recovery process following a car accident in 2013 revealed an enthusiasm for applying rehabilitative techniques through yoga, and John was inspired to undertake further education to augment his class offerings.

John is currently working towards his degree in Kinesiology at Local University.

Ashley Bravo

Badminton/Pickleball

Ashley has been our Badminton coach since joining our team in 2015, and she is very passionate about all things related to racquet sports! A longtime member of Local Badminton Club's A-team, she recently captained the team to a gold-medal finish in the provincial championship tournament. Ashley and her team are currently training for the upcoming Olympic team tryouts.

When the new facilities are complete, Ashley will be instructing tennis and squash classes in addition to badminton and pickleball.
